Road / Colchester to Witham via Mersea island

Overview
This ride is very gentle and mainly on quiet roads all the way to Witham.
Have £4 - in change - ready in order to take the ferry across to Mersea island. Once on Mersea island make a pit stop at one of the oyster bars in the bottom east part of the island.

Once on Mersea island make a pit stop at one of the oyster bars. West Mersea Oyster Bar is a good one with fresh oyster and a large selection of seafood.
How to get there?
Go to London Liverpool Street station and get a return ticket to Coldchester so you can get the train back to London from Witham. It is on the same line so it is not a problem.
